1. Eph 4:28 — Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Question: Are you working legitimately with your hands and earning an income to support yourself, your family and to have money to give to others when they legitmately need help?
2. Pro 13:11 Wealth [gotten] by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
3. Pro 14:23 In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to penury. (if you're interested in making money and supporting yourself, you'll prove it by your effort in seeking employment)
4. 1Th 4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; (It's a command to work with your own hands)
5. 1Th 4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and [that] ye may have lack of nothing.
6. 2Th 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. (Are you walking disorderly?)
7. 2Th 3:7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
8. 2Th 3:8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
9. 2Th 3:11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
10. 2Th 3:12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
11. 2Th 3:10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
