Key components to a Christian’s testimony:
1. Before: Briefly describe what your life and mindset was before becoming a Christian. Describe what some of your goals, feelings and thoughts were. Most people will relate somehow to your testimony during this part. Describe things such as a fear of death or your perception of God and how a person got to heaven before you became a Christian.
2. How & Why: Briefly describe how you came to repentance and faith in Christ. It is significant to communicate why you personally choose to follow Christ. Don’t preach at the person, but share how you were able to understand your personal need.
3. After: Briefly describe the changes in your life since becoming a Christian. Be as specific as possible. Describe realities in your life that would be of interest to an unsaved person such as no longer having a fear of death and judgment, what God has done for you, etc.
